Sapna Book House now at Elements Mall

Sapna Book House is a great place to visit at Elements Mall, the largest such mall in North Bangalore.

The store displays books, gifts, CDs, toys, chocolates and educational aids and has evolved into a one-stop shop for all the needs that include textbooks, reference books as well as stationary.

The shop area is spread over 6,500 sq ft and is located on the third floor of Elements Mall, the current hot shopping destination for residents of Bangalore North. It is very close to Manyata Tech Park and just off the ORR signal on Thanisandra main road.

According to Vimal Jasani, the store manager, as it’s a mall they need to stock up on all items as the footfalls are quite heavy. ``Customers walk in, browse through and eventually get attracted to something they have been thinking of buying. The store has generated a lot of buzz though we are just two months old.’’

Sapna is also connected online to all its stores and in case a particular book that you are looking for is not here, the helpful assistants will source it from another outlet if you drop in your name and number. A mother and son, looking for CBSE reference books, are told just that much to their delight.

Sapna has grown from 40 sq ft to 3,50,000 sq ft of customer retail space over a period of 48 years.

Sapna Book House now has outlets in Bangalore, Mysore, Mangalore, Hubli, Coimbatore and a new one has just opened in Gulbarga in north Karnataka.

``We see our growth in such a turbulent phase when retail stores are facing challenges from e-commerce,’’ says Shah proudly.

The Elements Mall shop is the only one catering to North Bangalore which is a large and developing stretch. The mall itself has spacious parking and other attractions to keep customers returning for a shopping experience including a first-of-its-kind cricket pitch where you can swat away tennis balls bowled by a bowling machine.

Jasani also says more items will be added in the coming weeks. The store also offers good discounts on the cover price of books, CDs and toys.

The non-books category is growing and a wide variety of gifts are being added to the list to make shopping here a good wholesome experience, he adds.
