An interactive stand-up comedy act Jus Improv at Jus’ Trufs Chocolatiers in Jakkur on January 22 has got a Hollywood connection.

A celebrity guest, Christina Collins, who has acted in 43 films and TV series will be in attendance as an on-the-spot improvisation is played out by a cast of five that includes Nasir Engineer, Abhishek Desai, Madhu Shukla, Rohit Nair and Benson Chacko.
The group, originally from Mumbai, is part of the permanent act at Jus’ Trufs. Chenddyna Schae who runs Jus’ Trufs Chocolatiers Company Private Limited, the premium bean to bar chocolate maker on Jakkur main road in north Bangalore, says the show will be unscripted, unexpected and unbelievable. ``That's improv for you. Come and be amazed by this group of extremely talented improvisers, who will send you roaring with laughter on a night of pure theatrically improvised comedy.’’
Schae says Collins, a Hollywood professional actor and director for the last 30 years, will be a star guest who will also interact with showgoers, city comedians, theatre artists and the film fraternity. Collins has, to her credit, taught many comedians, improv artists and actors who are performing across the US, Canada and Europe.

Friday's act promises to be a bit like Who's Line Is It Anyway, the legendary on-the-spot television improvisation show where performers act out suggestions from the live studio audience. Jus Improv will begin at 8.30 pm on the Jus’ Trufs terrace which has a large event space and is co-sponsored by Godrej Avenues. The Godrej Avenues project is coming up at Yelahanka and the real estate major is partnering an event at Jus’ Trufs for the first time.
