I Love You, Lets Have sex

Acclaimed theatre act `I love You let’s have sex’ is being staged exclusively at Jus’ Trufs café, Jakkur, Bangalore on March 18.

The play, being hosted for the first time in Bangalore, is sure to set the stage on fire.
A Barefoot production, I Love You Let’s Have Sex is an entertaining, quirky and fun play that offers some real insights into relationships.

Using an innovative and interactive format, the script follows the lives of the couple while they struggle to make sense of themselves and each other. Keeping their sense of humour alive through thick and thin, the couple are determined to reach a ‘happy ending’, even if that means breaking the ‘fourth wall’ to get the help they need.

The play opened at the Delhi Contemporary Arts Festival to a hugely positive response and has since then staged across the country at venues as diverse as independent performing spaces, at bars and pubs, as part of a therapist’s workshop session, at a conference, a community centre and even on invitation to a wedding celebration!

Recognizing the universality of the content, the actors find ways in which to interact with the audience directly – leading to improvised audience involvement.

Barefoot! is a Delhi-based production company, with a penchant for creating and producing fresh and original Indian work. The group also hosts ‘Small Gigs’, a series of non-sponsored music concerts.

Before the play, two celebrity guests - writer and foodie, Priya Bala, and author entrepreneur Jayanth Narayanan will speak on their collaborative effort  ‘Start Up Your Restaurant’, the book they co-authored.
