Black comedy in Green city

Get ready for a refreshing new stand-up comedy The Weird, The Nerd and The Turd at Jus’ Trufs.

The trio Rupen Paul, V. Shridhar and Kjeld Sreshth call themselves the most flawed human beings and will present a diverse comedy in English.

The Weird, The Nerd and The Turd at Jus' Trufs
All they ask is seventy minutes of your time on Saturday, May 28. So those interested have all the time to decide and anticipate.

A brief bio of the trio reads thus:

Rupen Paul is a frustrated middle class South Indian who did not do engineering, not because he was too cool to follow the crowd, but mainly because he didn't get enough marks! His jokes can find him making fun of the absurdities and oddities of life as experienced by people growing up in a middle class home. He is the winner of the 2014 Comedy Open Mic organized by Big Mic and has performed shows across Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune.

V Shridhar is an IIM grad (we don’t know which IIM he passed from) who has travelled extensively. He has stamped visas from 28 countries till now! Come find out if he was given an exit stamp right on arrival for joking with the immigration counter chick. Basically, a big show off, Shridhar derives material for his acts from his small town upbringing, pressure of being the topper (oh god!) and of course his travel tales.

Kjeld Sreshth (don’t know if his first name has a Dutch-South African connection) claims to be a small town kid destined for comedy after being dropped on the floor as a baby (So, we see he had a head for comedy:). In a short time on the circuit, he has managed to turn many heads into a stiffneck. And he tells us he ended up on stage after he quit a highly paid corporate job! Yawn.

Well, seeing is believing right? Be there on the last Saturday of the month.
