Here is a chance for those who still do not possess an Aadhaar card. Residents of north Bangalore have a chance to get their identity card done at the Kodigehalli Bangalore One Centre.
Having an Aadhaar card has become all the more important after demonetisation as it is not just about making cashless transactions, but Aadhaar-enabled ones where biometrics will play an important role where payments are concerned.
According to BBMP ward no. 8 corporator, K.M.Chetan, one does not have to wait for hours in a queue. All one has to do is visit the Bangalore One counter and collect a token between 9 and 10 am on all working days. Along with the token, an appointment is also scheduled and one can present themselves and their family members, at the appointed hour along with all the relevant documents. Children above two years of age are also eligible for Aadhaar.
