Residents benefit from Aster CMI camp

North Bangalorepost community initiative of bringing health to your doorstep got off to a very good start in association with Aster CMI Hospital on Republic Day.

The hospital had an exclusive programme for members of Amruthnagara Residents Welfare Association in north Bangalore at Sharada Vidyalaya and the Association' Library premises.

The day long programme started with a demonstration of Basic Life Support where members were taught emergency measures to revive stroke victims with CPR techniques. They were also taught how to administer first aid.
A free medical camp was also organised at Sharada Vidyalaya premises where a general physician and gynaecologist from Aster CMI Hospital were in attendance. The general health screening included BP monitoring, Blood sugar check, ECG, BMI and a general check up by the physician.

"Nearly a hundred residents attended the free health screening camp," Devaraj Gowda, the association president said.
