The bus bay along with the bus shelter next to Canara Bank received a spot fix.

In a matter of hours, young kids and residents of the apartment complex transformed the sore sight into what it was designed for - a public amenity site.

The garbage was cleared and a few strokes of paint quickly converted the area into a bright spot.

Having participated in the community initiative, the Woodizens happily handed over the spruced up part of the road to local RWAs and the BBMP which has been very supportive of their efforts, Tejaswi Uthappa, a GWE resident told North BangalorePost.

The Woodizens' Spot-fix has already created an impact.

BBMP has promised to place a security person at the refurbished bus shelter to stop garbage being dumped.

BBMP has also decided to clear some bins placed close to GWE which will help remove the stench emanating from it.
