up the Dasarahalli main road as a pre-Diwali gift to the neighborhood.

The bus bay along with the bus shelter next to Canara
Bank received a spot fix.
In a matter of hours, young kids and residents of the
apartment complex transformed the sore sight into what it was designed for - a
public amenity site.
The garbage was cleared and a few strokes of paint
quickly converted the area into a bright spot.

Having participated in the community initiative, the
Woodizens happily handed over the spruced up part of the road to local RWAs and
the BBMP which has been very supportive of their efforts, Tejaswi Uthappa, a
GWE resident told North BangalorePost.
BBMP has promised to place a security person at the refurbished bus shelter to stop garbage being dumped.
BBMP has also decided to clear some bins placed close to GWE which will help remove the stench emanating from it.
