Travellers and guests at
the Kempegowda International Airport witnessed a “Winter Wonderland”.
This is the Fourth
Edition of Bangalore International Airport Limited’s year-end festival “Season
Of Smiles”. The celebrations started from 15th December and
will go on till 31st of December. There are live music
performances, interactive photo sessions and exciting shopping offers to choose
from.

The airport has a life
size X’Mas Tree and Santa Claus installations along with some other Christmas
characters. It’s a true visual treat for the holiday season!

Here passengers who love
to shop can participate in a lucky draw by purchasing F&B products worth
Rs.299 or above at any retail, food and beverage outlet and lounges at the
Kerb and inside the airport..
The mega prizes include
a Jeep Compass, LG Home Audio System and Fossil watches. Passengers can also
win daily prizes of LG appliances. The Social Media handle of the Airport
@BLRAirport on Twitter and Facebook will engage with online customers who can
win exciting gifts every day through this period.
Activities Around Music:
The festivities at the
airport will come to life as the Bangalore School of Music, Colombo-based Soul
Sounds and Best Kept Secrets engage with onlookers at the Kerb and inside the
Terminal. These performances will be from 6 to 8 pm daily
from December 17 to 21.
17th, December, 2017 - Bangalore Men from the Bangalore
School of Music, who will perform Western Classical Music.
18th and 19th December 2017
- Soul Sounds, a premier female ensemble choir.
20th December, 2017 - Best Kept Secrets, they have
a repertoire ranging from classic funk and soul, to Motown, disco, pop, and
country music.
21st December,
2017 - Moon Arra from the Bangalore School of Music, who will perform
fusion of Indian Classical and Jazz.
In addition to this, the
airport officials have decided to spread the smile beyond the terminal as it is
“The Season Of Smiles”. Post cards which are creatively designed by children
with special needs are available at the terminal where guests and travellers
can send it to their families at no cost. BIAL has also set up a contribution
box where travellers can contribute towards Mathru Free School for the Blind
and Hearing Impaired Children. The money will be used to buy Braille Books for
these children. For every contribution, BIAL will donate an equal sum to the
school
