Its Christmas again and the Kempegowda
International Airportis getting all decked up to spread the festive cheer.
For the fifth year in a row, the
Bangalore Airport terminal has been given a festive makeover by Bangalore
International Airport Limited (BIAL), the airport operator. ‘Season of Smiles’ is
the annual entertainment and shopping extravaganza.
Powered by Master card, the celebration
that was launched on December 15, will go on till January 15, 2019. The
month-long celebration will offer passengers an endless opportunity to win
prizes.Non-passengers too can win vouchers by participating in radio and social
media contests.
“The aim of Season of Smiles is to
spread the festive cheer among all guests who visit the airport during the
holiday season. There is an exciting line-up of activities that will create a
wonderful atmosphere and ensure a memorable experience for passengers and
visitors, and spread the joy among the people of Bengaluru,” an airport
spokesperson said.
For north Bangalore residents too
it’s a good outing as the airport is close by.
The terminal has been adorned with
festive decorations such as winter-themed Christmas installations, illuminated
trees and selfie zones. Brightening the ambience at the airport will be a bunch
of roving carolers, enthralling passengers as Xmas nears. Passengers will also
be encouraged to sing along while waiting for their flights.
For shopaholics, promotions in
apparels, books and gifts also provide an opportunity to win exciting prizes. A
purchase of Rs 999 and above will create a chance to win a BMW X1. In addition,
there are plenty of prizes up for grabs, including an all-expense paid couple
tickets to Singapore, watches and other fabulous gifts. Look out for terms and
